Crunchyroll announced that they will be participating in Mela! Mela! Anime Japan (MMAJ), a cultural event organized by the Japan Consulate in Delhi, which will take place on Sep 28-29, 2024, at Pacific Mall.
At the Crunchyroll booth, visitors can enjoy interactive experiences like the BLUE LOCK Game, where they can compete for prizes. A special photo-op station will also be available for fans to take pictures and create memories.
One of the main highlights is an exclusive fan screening of the first episode of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Hashira Training Arc.
Crunchyroll is also bringing live entertainment from Japan. Spira Spica will perform ani-songs, and DJ Kazu, who recently impressed crowds at Mumbai Comic Con, will spin anime hits across both days.
As a bonus, all fans who visit the Crunchyroll booth will receive an exclusive swag bag filled with anime goodies.
Mela! Mela! Anime Japan!! is a unique anime and exhibition fusion event endorsed by the Governments of India and Japan, set to take place at Pacific Mall Tagore Garden in West Delhi.
The event will showcase authentic Japanese anime content, including screenings of popular titles such as Suzume, JUJUTSU KAISEN 0, SPY x FAMILY CODE: Whiteand Attack on Titanamong others.
Attendees can also enjoy exhibitions of Japanese companies’ products and services, along with a variety of foods and beverages served by popular Japanese restaurants in the Delhi NCR region.
Organized by the Mela! Mela! Anime Japan!! Executive Committee, the event is supported by the Government of India, Government of Japan, Embassy of Japan, Japan Association Delhi, and the Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry in India (JCCII).
The Japan Foundation, Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO), Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), and JLOX+ are cooperating partners, further enhancing the event’s aim of fostering cultural exchange and promoting Japanese content in India.
